TS Computers at the MTV3 VMA Party
 On September 5th 2008 TS Computers once again provided MTV
with a TriCaster Studio, and TriCaster expert Bob Anderson.
Unlike previous events, where the TriCaster is used to
stream live "after show" programming to their website, this
time it was the sole video switcher for the entire show. MTV
usually brings in several full size video trucks for their
events, but they've finally seen that the TriCaster really
CAN replace an entire TV studio! Bob was joined by
NewTek's own Philip Nelson who posted this on his blog: (

arrived back in LA early afternoon and it was off to the
club, Level 3 to set up for the MTV Tr3s party. I hate to
say it but I have no idea what the names of the bands were
but I did recognize some of the music they played. ;)

The crowd starts going nuts and a line starts to form at the
Kodak Theater. The line ran almost all the way around the
2nd level! Yes.. I got my moment of Red Carpet Fame..
It’s funny, it seems like every year at the VMA’s, a group
of girls thinks I’m somebody famous and asks me for my
picture.. Since it’s a nice ego boost, I obliged and even
had them take a shot with my camera.. LOL! I had to get
out of the production room for a second and got a great shot
of the band on stage.
The show was a HUGE success! We all had a blast and the
TriCaster performed flawlessly. See the Tricaster in
